Czech POINT
Czech POINT is aproject that should reduce excessive bureaucracy in the relationship between citizens and public administration. Czech POINT contact points provide, among other things, extracts from public records (e.g. Commercial and Trade Register, Land Registry) and non-public records (e.g. criminal records)

Certified extracts from public records:
For public records, the identity of the applicant is not verified. The applicant is only obliged to communicate the relevant criteria for finding his request.

Certified extracts from non-public records – Criminal Records:
In order to issue a certified extract from the RT, a written request must be signed and the identity of the applicant to whom the extract relates must be provided. Bring your ID or passport to prove your identity. An extract from the RT can also be issued to foreigners who have a long-term or permanent residence permit and have been assigned a birth number.
If someone applies for an extract from the RT on behalf, he/she must also provide a certified authorisation to do so (power of attorney) and his/her identity.
