The Municipal Office of Říčany is organizationally divided into individual departments, which in some cases are further divided into other departments, as well as into separate departments and sections standing outside this structure: the Internal Audit Unit, the Crisis Management Unit. While the secretary of the municipal authority is the statutory body in matters of labour law and is also responsible for the exercise of delegated powers (state administration), the head of the municipal authority is the mayor of the city.
