§ 79a Measuring the speed of vehicles
In order to improve road safety, the police and municipal police are authorised to measure the speed of vehicles. The municipal police carry out this activity exclusively at places designated by the police, in cooperation with the police.

§ 3a
A municipality or municipalities that have not established a municipal police force may conclude a public law contract with another municipality in the same higher territorial self-government unit (region) that has established a municipal police force, on the basis of which the municipal police force of that municipality will perform the tasks provided for by this Act or by a special act on the territory of the municipality or municipalities that have not established a municipal police force and are parties to this contract.
