Principle and job description of a precinct officer in the town of Říčany

The principle of the precinct officer is greater personal responsibility for the precinct and closer contact with the citizens in the precinct. The district officer has a better overview of what is happening in the place and should be the first to deal with individual cases – incidents within the framework of ensuring public order and its prevention, including traffic safety. In the absence of the precinct officer, the standard MP patrol provides the service, which then passes on the necessary information from the service in the precinct to the precinct officer.

The precinct officer also performs regular MP patrol services throughout the entire cadastral territory of the town of Říčany.

The District Police Officer performs his tasks and duties in accordance with the Municipal Police Act No. 553/1991 Coll., and everyone has the right to ask him for help. The performance of tasks in the precinct is carried out mainly by foot patrols or by bicycle and car patrols.

The priority of the precinct officer’s activity is, among other things, the control of: unauthorized occupation of public space, parked car wrecks, free running of animals, pollution of public space, unauthorized establishment of landfills, observance of civil coexistence, disturbance of night peace, crime prevention. Supervision of compliance with generally binding ordinances of the town of Říčany and cooperation with settlement committees of individual districts.
