{"id":84916,"date":"2023-11-06T09:40:41","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T08:40:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ricany.cz\/city\/municipal-police-ricany\/you-lost-an-animal\/"},"modified":"2025-02-11T08:56:15","modified_gmt":"2025-02-11T07:56:15","slug":"you-lost-an-animal","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ricany.cz\/en\/city\/municipal-police-ricany\/you-lost-an-animal\/","title":{"rendered":"You lost an animal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact the <strong>Municipal Police of \u0158\u00ed\u010dany<\/strong>, trapping of animals (mostly dogs) is provided by the municipal police, but it is also good to contact the state police (especially if your animal is lost in a municipality where we do not have local jurisdiction, e.g. Muka\u0159ov, Sv\u011btice, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are local or from the immediate area, enter your loss using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ricany.cz\/potrebuji-vyridit\/zvireci-utulek\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ricany.cz\/potrebuji-vyridit\/zvireci-utulek\/\">City of Ricany website<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your pet (dog) is <strong>chipped<\/strong>, contact the relevant registry (e.g. the National Register of Pet Owners) or another registry where you have registered the pet (dog) and report the loss.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your animal (dog<strong>)<\/strong> is<strong> tattooed<\/strong>, report the loss to <strong>the studbook<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contact the nearest veterinary surgeries <\/strong>and hospitals (clinics). Finders will often go to the nearest veterinary surgery in the place of residence\/finding to retrieve the chip. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have the opportunity, <strong>announce the loss <\/strong>on local <strong>radio<\/strong> in the village and surrounding area. Nowadays it is also possible to cooperate with radio stations, some of which are very willing to help. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Use the internet <\/strong>&#8211; send an internet <strong>message with a photo <\/strong> to <strong>animal <\/strong>(dog)<strong> websites, portals and forums. <\/strong>For example: portal pes v n\u00fazi, Pejsek.cz , CZ-pes, Hafici.cz, psidetektiv.cz etc. Use <strong>discussion forums <\/strong>or pages for your particular breed. <strong>Spread the word to the public!<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Call and email shelters in the area<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lys\u00e1 nad Labem shelter<\/strong><br\/> +420<strong> 605 316 755, <\/strong>e-mail: <a href=\"mailto:pejscilysa@email.cz\">pejscilysa@email.cz,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pejscilysa.cz\">www.pejscilysa.cz<\/a><br\/> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mar\u0161ovice shelter<\/strong>:<br\/> +420<strong> 728 613 618, +420 775 268 225, <\/strong>e-mail: <a href=\"mailto:utulekmarsovice@centrum.cz\">utulekmarsovice@centrum.cz,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.utulek-marsovice.estranky.cz\">www.utulek-marsovice.estranky.cz<\/a><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Put up flyers <\/strong>&#8211; preferably A4 size with a large colour photo of the animal and a reward for the finder. <strong>Restaurants, convenience stores, GP surgeries, veterinary surgeries<\/strong> are also well established. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advertise in the local press <\/strong>&#8211; use local dailies, newspapers, newsletters, both in print and online.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact the <strong>hunting association, foresters, road maintenance and <\/strong>the like.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the adjacent cadastre of Hl. m. Prague to the town of \u0158\u00ed\u010dany, we recommend contacting the Hl. m. Prague. Some finders &#8220;honestly&#8221; give the animal to the shelter in Hl. m.
