The observatory Ondřejov - founded in the year 1898 by Josef Frič, currently the Astronomic Institution of the Czech Academy of Scientes. The Art Noveau observatories have been turned into museums . One of the biggest telescopes in Europe have been placed in the new observatory. Observatories are surrounded by a park with rare evergreen woody species. It is possible to arrange visits with guides.
